20 new bat viruses discovered in China's fruit orchard amidst ongoing COVID surge
Chinese scientists have postponed 20 unknown bats in a orchard in the Yunnan Province, and promoted renewed global anxiety for China with a new covid -19 bounce. Among these newly discovered viruses are four Serbecovirus from the family, including the virus responsible for Kovid -19. The proximity to the garden for human settlements increases the concerns at the risk of zoonotic emissions. Although none of the recently recognized viruses are confirmed to be dangerous to humans, their genetic equality highlights the familiar human's acted virus.
