Just 1 dose of magic mushroom compound eases depression for at least 5 years
A recent study revealed by Live Science suggests that the same dose of psilocybin found in some fungi, the same dose of psilocybin, can reduce the symptoms of greater depression by one year significantly. The study was placed by researchers at the University of Johns Hopkins, performing 24 adults with long -term depression, which achieved only one dose of alilosybin with psychiatry. Most participants showed sufficient and continuous improvement in mood and mental welfare, which has an impact on 12 months. Researchers believe that psilocybin helps to "reset" brain activity patterns associated with depression, and possibly provide a safe alternative for traditional antidepressants. Treatment also increased emotional openness and meaning of meaning in life. While the results are promising, scientific medical supervision emphasizes the importance of supervision and caution, as psilocybin is still classified as a controlled substance in many places. Extensive clinical use requires large, long -term tests before considering treatment.
