Richard Gere arrives in Dharamshala for Dalai Lama's 90th birthday festivities
American actor and humanitarian Richard Gere has reached Dharamshala in the Himachal Pradesh, to attend the upcoming ceremony to mark the 90th anniversary of the Dalai Lama. Gere is known for its deep spiritual relationships with Tibetan Buddhism and long support for Tibetan case, arrived at Gaggal Airport and was warmly welcomed by local authorities and monks. The journey is associated with the Dalai Lama for decades of Gere, which he has often described as his spiritual guide and protector. The celebration of Dalai Lama's birthday is expected to attract followers and honorary members from all over the world, who celebrate their teachings on mercy, peace and not -violence.
