Air India to cut overseas flights on wide-body aircraft by 15% at least till mid-July
Air India has announced a temporary decline of at least 15% in its international flight operations in the mid -July 2025. This comes a strategic step because many of its long aircraft undergo maintenance and renewal of the cabin. The airline is facing a delay in achieving spare parts and components, which means that some fly to ground, especially Boeing 777 and 787 models. To deal with the effect on passengers, Air India informs constantly affected passengers and provides alternatives such as re -order or reimbursement. Despite this shock, the airline confirms that the domestic and narrow frame's worldwide passengers will continue to be unaffected. The airline's extensive change plan, including upgrading the cabin interior, develops, although the current disorder is a short -term barrier. Air India has also assured that it works closely with the manufacturers and suppliers to provide speed to the deadline for withdrawing aircraft and restoring the entire flight plan as soon as possible.
