A new genetic study has shown how house cats spread throughout the world after human migration and trade routes. Researchers analyzed over 300 ancient cats -DNA from Europe, Africa and Asia, with 9,000 years. They found that house cats would probably be near the east and Egypt, eventually spread to continents through human activity - especially through maritime trade. Especially Egyptian cats, which are known for their beneficial symptoms and spotted areas, played an important role in populating Europe during the classic time. The study illuminates the two large waves of Cat's spread: one during early agricultural expansion and the other during the Greek and Roman period. These conclusions provide information on how human preferences and travels shaped the spread of cats and genetic diversity. Overall, this research shows how animals, especially cats have been developed with pets, human civilizations, benefit from their engagement with people for food, shelter and transport.
