    More about De Queen Bee Citizen newspaper : On June 4, 1897, Walter A. Boyd, a printer, and J. founded the De Queen Bee journal. W. Bishop, Nashville lawyer, Arkansas. Bishop. The two of them were in Nashville, debating the creation of a new rail-road town in Sevier County, known as De Queen. One version of the event is the courthouse. The two decided to begin a fresh journal in the new city by making a company chance and calling De Queen Bee properly. According to its owners, the paper should be released every Friday with a prices of $1 per annum. Sevier County was about 15000 inhabitants at that moment.
