More about Lake County Record Bee newspaper : In 1961, Lake County Record-Bee (Lake County Record-Bee) came into being when former publisher (now Emeritus Publisher) Roland R. Johnsrud merged Lake County Bee (established in 1873) with Lakeport Press and Record (established in 1925), and Lake County County Record-Bee is released on a regular basis other than on Sundays and Mondays. The Record-Bee of Lake County belongs to the Lake and Mendocino Newspaper Group (LMNG) including the Ukiah Daily Journal, the Willits News, Mendocino Beacon and Fuerte Bragg. Denver, the MNB, which owns well-established newspapers such as the East Bay Times, the Marin Indeependent Journal, San Jose Mercury News, Los Angeles Daily News and Denver Post, bought the above-mentioned papers in 2001. Their owners were also well-known media outlets.
