More about Los Gatos Daily News newspaper : Los Gatos Daily News, now known as Los Gatos, was released 3 days a week in Los Gatos, Calif. Dave Price and Jim Pavelich, who also released the Palo Alto Daily News, established this journal on 15 May 2002. The two documents have been circulated in newsagents, coffee shops, restaurants, colleges and significant places of work. On 15 February 2005 Knight Ridder received the Los Gatos News together with five other editions. 4 main newspapers served the 30,000 person community of Los Gatos: Los Gatos Observer, San Jose Mercury News, Los Gatos News & Los Gatos Weekly Times. All except Los Gatos Observer, which is online, were owned shortly after McClatchy acquired Knight Ridder in early 2006 by a non-local business McClatchy and are now governed by the Denver, Colorado, MediaNews Group.
