    More about Idyllwild Town Crier newspaper : Ernie and Betty Maxwell created the Idyllwild Town Crier newspaper in 1946. It has since been published weekly or weekly in areas across the South of California, such as Idyllwild, Fern Valley, Pine Cove, Mountain Centre, Garnner Valley, Poppet Flat, Pinyon and Anza. Pops can be seen in San Bernardino national forests. The Town Crier opened a Visitors Center to meet a major need in our town in 2013, following the dissolution of Idyllwild Chamber of the Commerce. The parent corporation of Idyllwild Town Crier, Ltd is owned by Jack and Becky Clark and is Idyllwild Town Crier. The two-monthly magazine Palms to Pines is published by Idyllwild House Publishing Company
