About Cruzeiro do Sul Portuguese online newspaper: Cruzeiro do Sul newspaper is Portuguese language newspaper in Brazil. Cruzeiro do Sul was founded by brothers Firmino Joaquim Pires de Camargo and Joao Cl?maco Pires de Camargo. Cruzeiro do Sul is the largest newspaper. It is owned and sponsored by the FUA (Ubaldino do Amaral Foundation). The publication began distributing the same year, initially 4 pages with a bi-weekly circulation. The newspaper changed ownership and was purchased by Ignacio da Silva Rocha, Carlos Correia in 1936. The director of Radio Clube de Sorocaba, Orlando da Silva Freitas bought the newspaper and start a through process to modernize the graphics and design in 1940 .
