Z?ri I Popullit, initially published by Enver Hoxha, was created on 25 August 1942. The news and propaganda organ of the Labor Party became the official journal of Albania. The press organ of that same group which changed its name into the socialist party of Albania in June 1991, remained in the journal after 1991.
