US started retaliatory attacks for drone attack
In response to the recent drone attack on its military bases in Jordan, the United States has announced that it will carry out retaliatory strikes. According to President Joe Biden, Iran-backed militants and Iranian Revolutionary Guards bases in Iraq and Syria were targeted with warplanes. According to the UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, approximately 18 people have been killed in these retaliatory attacks.
US President Joe Biden has stated that we are prepared to attack with a plan and have already set targets for retaliatory attacks. On Friday, he visited the families of three soldiers killed in the drone attack and made an important announcement about it. In a statement, he stated that we do not want any clashes and that if they see harm to our country, we will respond. He warned that every attack would be carried out on the designated targets as per my orders.
As part of this, Coordinator for Strategic Communications of U.S. National Security Council, John Kirby said that they had informed the Iranian government in advance about the attacks. According to the US Central Command, about 85 bases have been attacked, of which advanced bombers seem to have participated in the air strikes. They also warned that there will be more terrible attacks on their targets in the coming days.
