Pradhanmantri Suryoday Yojana scheme : First decision after returning from Ayodhya

India is a densely populated country, consequently electricity consumption is high. Electricity is very essential not only for both domestic and commercial purposes. As part of this, the central government is going to start the ‘Pradhan Mantri Suryoday Yojana Scheme’. Modi said that it has been decided to build solar panels on about one crore houses. The Prime Minister said that a program is being undertaken towards the use and production of solar power in the country.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a key announcement to implement the ‘Pradhan Mantri Suryoday Yojana’ scheme after concluding the Prana Pratishta program of Sri Ram in Ayodhya. As a part of this, it was decided to build solar panels on the roofs of about one crore houses in the country. Prime Minister Modi announced through social media X that the scheme is being launched with the intention of reducing the burden of electricity bills on the poor and middle class people and to take the country forward in power generation.

He said that Lord Rama is a great power and he belongs to the Surya clan and is the inspiration for this scheme.

Eligibility:

The eligibility criteria for this scheme have yet to be released in full. The following qualifications are likely to exist.

Applicants should be citizens of the country.

Applicants should not be in government service.

There may also be an income limit.

How to Apply:

The government will establish an official website to accept applications from qualified candidates.
