‘This Is Not Done By India or America’: Nawaz Sharif On Pakistan Economic status
Pakistan: During the election campaign in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the former prime minister said that it will be very difficult to bring Pakistan’s economy into a groove. Pakistan is economically very backwarded and the current government failed to control the inflation in the country. He strongly criticized the PTI party, claiming that the country’s economic woes were caused by Imran Khan’s government, and not by the foreign countries such as India or America.
With the elections to be held on February 8, Nawaz Sharif announced that if his government is brought to power, he will curb inflation, create employment opportunities and take the country forward.
In the past, Sharif also responded in his own style that while the neighboring countries are landing on the moon and flying victory flags, Pakistan cannot grow on earth.
