Modi Goes Snorkeling In Lakshadweep, Speaks of Exhilarating Time

NEW DELHI: During a recent visit to the Lakshadweep islands, Prime Minister Narendra Modi went snorkeling to learn about marine life. Modi took to the social networking platform X to share photos of his underwater adventure, calling it “exhilarating.”

“Lakshadweep’s tranquility, in addition to its scenic beauty, is mesmerizing.” It provided me a chance to think about how I could work even harder for the benefit of India’s 140 million people,” he continued.

The Prime Minister inaugurated the Kochi-Lakshadweep Islands Submarine Optical Fibre Connection and laid the groundwork for the refurbishment of a primary healthcare facility and five model Anganwadi centers during his visit to Lakshadweep on January 2 and 3. He also gave various initiatives to the country. 

Modi emphasized that the government’s priority in Lakshadweep is to improve people’s lives through improved development, including possibilities for better healthcare, quicker internet, and safe drinking water, all while preserving and enjoying the distinctive local culture.

“I recently had the opportunity to spend time with the people of Lakshadweep.” I’m still in awe of its beautiful beauty and the great warmth of its people. I had the chance to meet individuals in Agatti, Bangaram, and Kavaratti. I’d like to express my gratitude to the people of the islands for their hospitality. “Here are some snippets, including aerial shots from Lakshadweep,” Modi said on X.
