About Norwegian bokmal :The Norwegian Bokmal is an official written standard for the Norwegian language. About 85% to 90% of the people of Norway preferred Bokmal as the written standard of Norwegian language. The name Bokmal was officially adopted in 1929. Bokmal was regulated by the governmental Norwegian Language Council. The first Bokmal orthography named "Riksmal" was officially adopted in the year 1907.
