Sprouts are a whole, delicious, healthy vegetarian food. Greengram, beans, chickpeas, peas and soya beans are widely used as sprouts. Sprouts are rich in vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin B, vitamin K, minerals, antioxidants as well as iron, copper, manganese and potassium. Sprouts are also rich in fiber, enzymes and omega-3 fatty acids, but less in calories. Usually we cook many pulses and seeds directly and eat them in curries or recipes. But eating them as sprouts increases the nutrients in them many fold.

Improves metabolism: They are very good for health as they have fast digestive properties. But these should be chewed well so that they work together with saliva to improve metabolism. This reduces problems like indigestion and flatulence. The fiber content in them cleans the intestines. Generally cooking such seeds reduces their nutritional value. So it is best to take them directly.

Reduces weight: The high protein content in them fills the stomach with a small amount of food. So you don't get hungry quickly. Due to the low calories, they do not gain weight. Thus sprouts also help in weight loss.

Boosts Immunity: Sprouts are rich in vitamins, minerals as well as iron, copper, manganese and potassium which increase red blood cells in the blood, and improves blood circulation. Its high antioxidant properties increase immunity.

Improves heart health: Sprouts reduce bad cholesterol and increase good cholesterol in the body. Also, the anti-inflammatory properties of these can prevent cardiovascular problems and protect the heart.

Skin Problems: Sprouts are rich in Vitamin-A, Vitamin-C and antioxidants. Therefore, it is used to prevent skin dryness and enhance beauty.

It improves blood circulation in the body. Various types of vitamins like vitamin-A, vitamin-C, B-complex are helpful in curing chronic thyroid disease.

How to eat?
After soaking the quality seeds, the sprouts grow to a length of around 4-5 cm and contain a broad spectrum of nutrients. Hence, it is preferable to select seeds that are of high quality. They should be chewed well so that the saliva in the mouth is produced more. This saliva helps digest the carbohydrates in the seeds. Due to the increased production of chemicals in the digestive tract and intestines to digest these, the intestines absorb more nutrients. Some people cannot chew and drink them as juice. By drinking like that, the body does not get enough of the nutrients contained in them. The intestines cannot absorb much of the nutrients in them. So chewing the juice is better than drinking it.

How much to eat?
You can eat up to 100 grams to 150 grams per day. At first you can get used to it a little and then you can increase it. Honey, dates, raisins, lemon juice, pomegranate seeds, pieces of onion, and pieces of carrot can be eaten with them for better taste.

When to eat?
It is always good to eat sprouts as breakfast in the morning. Can be eaten anytime from morning to afternoon. But eating at night can lead to digestive problems. Simplest way to lose weight !!!
